Import a piece

Pianotes can open these files:

MusicXML .musicxml .xml .mxlSheet music from MuseScore, Sibelius, Finale or Dorico, or downloaded from IMSLP or musescore.com. Comes in exactly as written, with its markings.
MIDI .mid .midiA recording or a file from another music program.
Pianotes file .jsonA piece exported from Pianotes.

Not yet: PDFs, photos or scans of sheet music. If the piece is in a notation app, export it as MusicXML first; many scores on IMSLP and musescore.com can be downloaded as MusicXML too.
